The beaches
Torrevieja disposes of 20 km of beaches with a lot of white-sand beaches (playas) and creeks (calas).
The Torrevieja beaches are easy accessible and are indicated throughout the entire city. The most important ones are: la Mata beach, Playa Del Cura, Playa De Los Locos, Playa De Los Naufragos, Playa Del Acequion and Paseo Maritimo Juan Aparicio
Shopping

Murcia
“Pearl of the South” is what they often call Murcia. A city with atypical historical buildings, old palaces and churches, even a cathedral but also hyper modern buildings. You’ll find cosy outdoor cafés and wonderful gastronomy. Absolutely worth the visit!
Alicante
A bit further than 40 km from Guardamar we find Alicante, the second largest city in Valencia. The city has a lot to offer:

La Manga del Mar Menor
Mar Menor is the largest salk lake in Europe, located at the south-east coast in the region of Murcia at about 45 km from the Oasis Beach X.
La Manga del Mar Menor is a small strip of 22 km (1,5 km wide) that separates the salt lake from the Mediterranean Sea. This strip has been filled up with hotels and vacation suites.
The shallow Mar Menor (less than 10 m deep) is always a few degrees warmer than the Mediterranean Sea and is water sports paradise and a perfect spot for those who’d like to swim in crystal clear water.

It takes less than a 1,5 hour drive to get from Oasis Beach X to several other nice places:

- Benidorm - 95km
- Altea - 107km
- Calpe - 115km
- Denia - 140km (1h45min, but here you can take the ferry to Ibiza)
Local markets
Apart from all the different weakly markets of, among others, La Mata, Elche, Campo de Guardamar you should definitely visit the “Mercadillio de Torrevieja” on Fridays. This is one of the largest markets in Spain with more than 1200 stands.

Lokale markten
Naast de verschillende weekmarkten van oa La Mata, Elche, Campo de Guardamar, ... moet je op vrijdag zeker eens langsgaan op de "Mercadillio de Torrevieja". Dit is één van de grootste markten in Spanje met meer dan 1200 kraampjes.
